Delete your CoachLink account

This page explains how to delete your account in CoachLink, the coaching app by CoachLink, and the data associated with it. You can start the deletion from the app or directly on this page.

Delete from the CoachLink app

  1. Open the CoachLink app and sign in.
  2. Open your Profile.
  3. Tap "Delete account", confirm your identity, and confirm the request.

What happens after you ask

  • Your account is deactivated straight away and you are signed out on every device.
  • For 30 days you can cancel the request and keep your account exactly as it was: come back to this page and enter the same details.
  • After 30 days your data is erased. For a coach account the erasure happens within a further 14 days at most.
  • If you are a coach, your clients keep their own accounts and history; they are told that your account is closing.

What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted:

  • Your sign-in identity, profile, and contact details.
  • For clients: health and fitness information, check-ins and progress photos, logs, AI analyses, feedback, the chat conversation with your coach and its attachments, payment-proof images, and the plans written for you.
  • For coaches: your public page, portfolio and media, certifications, payment account details, branding, notes, leads, and your exercise and food libraries.
  • Device notification tokens.

Kept in minimal form:

  • Payment and membership history (amounts, dates and status) with proof images and free text removed.
  • A security audit log (ids and action names only) and a record that the deletion was requested and carried out (dates and counts only).
  • An anonymised account stub with no name, email or credentials, so the records above stay consistent.
  • For coaches: your clients' own accounts and records, and your subscription payment records with CoachLink (amounts and dates).

Request deletion on this page

Confirm the account with the email and password you use for CoachLink, or with Google if you sign in with Google. We use them only to confirm the account is yours; this page never signs you in. If a deletion is already requested, you will see its status and can cancel it here.

If you sign in only with Google and have no password, delete your account from the CoachLink app (Profile → Delete account).
