These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CoachLink website, applications and related services (together, the "Service"), provided by CoachLink ("CoachLink", "we", "us" or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Using CoachLink

CoachLink is a software platform for fitness coaches and their clients. Coaches can use the Service to present their coaching business, manage clients, create programs, communicate with clients and offer subscriptions, packages or products. Clients can use the Service to work with their coach, follow programs, share progress and communicate.

CoachLink provides the software only. Coaching services are provided by coaches, who are independent of CoachLink. Any coaching arrangement is between the coach and the client.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating and using your account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
  • If you sign in with a third-party account, such as Google, you are also subject to that provider's terms.
  • Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

3. Coach responsibilities

If you use CoachLink as a coach, you are responsible for:

  • The coaching services, programs, guidance and recommendations you provide, and for holding any qualifications or permissions required for them.
  • Handling your clients' information responsibly, using it only for coaching purposes, and complying with laws that apply to you.
  • The accuracy of your public profile and any claims you make, and for having appropriate permission before publishing any client's name, image, results or testimonial.
  • The packages, prices, products and terms you offer to clients, delivering what you sell, and resolving questions, refunds or disputes with your clients.
  • Using AI-assisted reports only as a support tool and applying your own professional judgement.

4. Client responsibilities

If you use CoachLink as a client, you understand and agree that:

  • Your coach, not CoachLink, provides your coaching, programs and guidance.
  • Information you provide through the Service is shared with your coach. Please share only information you are comfortable sharing, and keep it accurate.
  • You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise or nutrition program is appropriate for you, and you should consult a qualified health professional before starting one.
  • Questions, refunds or disputes about coaching services should be addressed with your coach.

5. Payments and subscriptions

  • Some features of the Service require a paid plan, subscription, package or purchase. Prices, durations, features and payment methods are presented through the Service at the time of purchase.
  • Payments are made using the payment methods and terms presented through the Service. Some payment methods may require you to submit confirmation or proof of payment, and access may begin only after the payment has been confirmed.
  • Payments between coaches and clients are an arrangement between those parties. Coaches are responsible for the payment terms they offer.
  • CoachLink is not a bank or payment processor. Payments made through banks, wallets or other payment providers are also subject to those providers' terms.
  • Plans, features and prices may change over time. Changes will not retroactively affect a term you have already paid for.
  • Any promotional offers or discount codes are subject to the conditions presented with them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or misleading purpose.
  • Upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Upload other people's personal information or images without permission.
  • Make false or misleading claims, including about qualifications, results or payments.
  • Access, or attempt to access, accounts or data that are not yours.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload or attempt to bypass the security or limits of the Service.
  • Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, resell or misuse the Service, except as permitted by law.
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.

We may remove content or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

7. User content and intellectual property

  • Your content. You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, such as profile information, programs, messages, photos and other uploads. You grant CoachLink a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display and transmit that content as needed to operate, provide and improve the Service, including displaying content a coach chooses to publish publicly.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights needed to share it.
  • CoachLink's property. The Service, including its software, design, branding and related materials, is owned by CoachLink or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to it other than the right to use the Service as permitted.
  • Feedback. If you share feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, such as sign-in providers, messaging apps, video platforms or payment providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and CoachLink is not responsible for them.

9. AI features

Some plans may include AI-assisted features. AI-generated content is produced automatically, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and is provided for informational purposes only. It is not medical, nutritional or professional advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional judgement. Availability and limits of AI features may vary and may change.

10. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. The Service may be affected by maintenance, updates, third-party outages or events outside our control. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

11. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may contact us about closing your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, or remove content, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if your use creates risk for CoachLink or other users, or where required by law.
  • If a coach's account is suspended or closed, that coach's clients may lose access to features connected to that coach.
  • Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will continue to apply.

12. Fitness and medical disclaimer

CoachLink is a software platform and does not itself provide medical, health, fitness or nutritional advice. Content available through the Service — including programs, plans, reports and AI-generated content — is not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional.

Exercise and dietary changes involve risk. Consult a qualified health professional before beginning any fitness or nutrition program, and stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain or discomfort. CoachLink does not verify coaches' qualifications and does not guarantee any fitness, health or other outcome.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, CoachLink disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CoachLink will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. CoachLink is not responsible for coaching services provided by coaches, for the results of any program, or for arrangements, payments or disputes between coaches and clients.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
